How to apply for SR 22 on a bike and a car?
I recently was convicted of a DUI and I need to show proof of SR 22 insurance in order to get a restricted license. The problem is that I have separate insurance conpanies on my motorcycle. I have liability insurance through McGraw and Collision and Comprehension through a different company. I also have a different insurance for my car. In order to show proof of SR 22, would I need to get it on all insurance companies?? Or would I get on for my car and one with McGraw which is the liability insurance, since liability is what you need by law??
You should be able to get an SR 22 filing from Mcgraw insurance company. Normally the DMV only requires one SR 22 on file so if you submit the Mcgraw SR 22 filing that should be enough to get your license reinstated at the DMV. I do know that Mcgraw will issue you a filing because we sell Mcgraw and I know they have them. You can call the underwriters directly at 1-800-303-5000 they will be able to get one out to you pretty quick. I hope that this information helps you.
