Yeah, you need insurance. Riding between cars is called lane splitting. It is illegal in most states, but I don’t know about Florida.
I don’t think you can split lanes in Florida. That seems to be a CA thing. Also, you need insurance. I also recommend life insurance, considering my experiences with Florida drivers. Especially in North Florida… worst drivers in the country.
You do not have to have Insurance on a Motorcycle in florida ,Except if you have financed the bike. The finance company may require you get Insurance before leaving the lot , Riding between cars in a traffic Jam ,I dont know if its legal are not but I have done it /peace
Check your locals laws at your local DMV. But I think “lane splitting” is legal only in California. Too bad too . It’s ilegal here in Ohio too but when there is a traffic jam I pull over and go down the side of the road or where ever there’s an opening. It doesn’t make sense to me to sit out in the road taking up space with my motor running if I can keep moving on as long as I do it slowly and safely.
yes, insurance is required if riding on public streets, highways etc.
